Anchored In The Community
Carolinas Oral & Facial Surgery Center has been serving Wilmington and southeastern North Carolina for more than 35 years. We know this community, and this community knows us.
Established in 1975, Carolinas Oral & Facial Surgery Center combines a well established reputation with a very progressive approach to medical dentistry. The three surgeons are board certified and board eligible with specialty training. They divide their time between our Wilmington, Whiteville and Jacksonville offices.
COFSC offers a full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including routine tooth extraction, wisdom teeth removal, and dental implant procedures, as well as many other surgical procedures.
COVID-19 UPDATE: A MESSAGE TO OUR PATIENTS
As our nation and communities continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, Carolinas Oral & Facial Surgery Center has put in place increased policies and procedures in order to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. In addition to our already thorough sanitization practices, we have installed state of the art HEPA air purification units in each operatory that eliminates viruses and bacteria in the air. We have also modified our patient scheduling to ensure that appointments are staggered so that patients are not arriving at the same time, in order to minimize the number of patients in the building during your appointment. You will also notice that our office and clinical staff are wearing increased amounts of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in order to minimize risk of transmission, and to further protect you during your visit. All of our patients will still receive the highest quality care that you have come to expect from Carolinas Oral & Facial Surgery Center, and we look forward to your visit!
Dental Implants
At COFSC, dental implants are a specialty within our specialty. Our surgeons have many years of experience performing this complex procedure. In fact, we have designed part of our state-of-the-art facility exclusively to performing dental implant surgery.
