The Practice

We are known for being highly skilled and compassionate, combining an established reputation with cutting-edge technology.

For over four decades, people in southeastern North Carolina have trusted the specialists of Carolinas Oral & Facial Surgery Center for excellent care. Our surgeons are known for being highly skilled and compassionate, combining an established reputation with cutting-edge technology. In fact, many of our patients have returned years later with their children and grandchildren when they are in need of surgical services.

A medical and dental specialty, oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to six additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training. As exceptionally trained oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Bufalini, Dr. Booth, and Dr. Lemmon manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Each practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. Our doctors can also diagnose and treat facial pain and facial injuries, as well as perform a full range of dental implant procedures.

The surgical staff at Carolinas Oral & Facial Surgery Center also consists of experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who are highly trained to assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. All medical staff are CPR-certified and continuously monitor patients during and after surgery.

“Huge thank you to Dr. Booth for seeing my daughter on an urgent basis yesterday. We appreciate you!” – Jody S.
